BookLive Co., Ltd., a group company of TOPPAN Holdings Inc. (headquartered in Tokyo's Minato Ward, President and CEO: Tadashi Tanno), will host a pop-up shop commemorating the 20th anniversary of the fancy character "Capybara-san." The event, titled "Capybara-san 20th Twenkle's Kitchen in OSHI BASE Harajuku," will take place at OSHI BASE Harajuku (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo), a new hub for "oshi-katsu" (fan activities) operated by the company that connects creators, works, and fans.
Capybara-san is a character born from BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. (formerly the women's team TRYWORKS of Banpresto Co., Ltd.).
This pop-up event celebrates Capybara-san's 20th anniversary with merchandise sales featuring newly commissioned illustrations, a 20th anniversary message board, a signing event with original creator Keiko Chida, and weekend-limited two-shot photo sessions with the Capybara-san characters.

① Merchandise Lineup Featuring New Original Illustrations

② One-Day-Only Signing Event by Creator Keiko Chida
On Capybara-san "Kyuru" Day (September 6), there will be a signing event with Keiko Chida, who was responsible for the original concept, production, and artwork of Capybara-san.
Date and Participation: September 6 (Saturday) - Signing event tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Signing Event Schedule: Approximately 30 minutes per session, 10 people per session, total of 4 sessions (40 people total) ① 1:00 PM~ ② 1:45 PM~ ③ 2:45 PM~ ④ 3:30 PM~
*Please arrive at the time specified on your participation ticket.
Participation Requirements: Purchase Capybara-san merchandise worth ¥5,000 or more (including tax) at "OSHI BASE Harajuku" on September 6 (Saturday) to receive one signing event participation ticket on a first-come, first-served basis.
Signing Content: We will provide mini-colored paper with "your name" + "Chida-sensei's signature." Please write your name on the participation ticket in advance.
*Distribution ends when tickets run out. *You cannot choose your time slot. During the event period, visitors can enjoy two-shot photography sessions with various Capybara-san characters on a total of 4 days.

*Two-shot photography will be conducted by staff using customers' mobile phones (including smartphones).

About OSHI BASE Harajuku
OSHI BASE Harajuku is BookLive's first physical store, opened in April 2024 within Tokyo Plaza Harajuku "Harakado." It serves as a space where creators and fans can connect and interact through works and spaces, where creators can express themselves beyond existing frameworks, and where fans can immerse themselves more deeply in the world of their "oshi" (favorites). The store sells various manga, anime, and character-related merchandise, and hosts events such as work exhibitions in event and gallery spaces, and character greetings. It has been well-received by creators and fans, and since April 2025, the store has expanded its floor area.
