About CBTR2026 (Central Biwako Touring Rally)
CBTR2026 (Central Biwako Touring Rally) challenges riders to visit 10 or more of 15 designated spots around Lake Biwa, completing a full circumnavigation to earn the "Lake Biwa Complete Circuit Certificate."
The event runs from September 12 to November 23, 2026. Participants can ride on any day during the period, at their own pace.

5th Anniversary Special Event: "Omi Sanjin — Battle for Territory"
To mark the 5th anniversary, a one-time special event called "Omi Sanjin — Battle for Territory" (近江三陣 陣取り合戦) will take place this year. All participants are assigned to one of three factions — "Water," "Mountain," or "Wind" — and compete as teams around Lake Biwa.
Riders discover which faction they belong to only when their entry set arrives. Each set includes a colored "faction cord" (陣紐) to tie onto the motorcycle. Spotting another rider with the same color means finding a teammate. The format is designed to be fun whether riding solo or with others, with no additional charge.
Mystery-Solving Touring: "Lake Biwa King 2026"
Alongside the checkpoint rally, participants can also take part in "Lake Biwa King 2026," an activity that combines motorcycle touring around the lake with puzzle-solving — a distinctive experience unique to CBTR2026 (Central Biwako Touring Rally).
