Craft Beer and Sake from Kanagawa Gather at Ebina Booze Fest 2026 — Two Days at Ebina Chuo Park Starting June 6

Ebina Booze Fest 2026 is an early-summer event where visitors can enjoy craft beer and sake from Kanagawa in one place. "Booze Fest" means "sake festival," and this year's edition brings together 16 breweries and 2 sake breweries from across Kanagawa Prefecture. The event takes place over two days — Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 — at Ebina Chuo Park, just in front of Ebina Station. Breweries and sake producers with ties to Ebina are also among the participants, making it a celebration with a strong local flavor. Beer-friendly food, live DJ music, and more round out the experience.

Feature 1: Kanagawa Breweries in One Place

Craft beer breweries gathered at the event

Sixteen craft breweries from Kanagawa Prefecture are taking part, giving visitors a rare chance to taste beers from many different producers at a single venue. Normally, each brewery's beers can only be enjoyed on-site or through limited distribution, so this is a good opportunity to sample a wide variety in one outing.

From Ebina, local favorites include Ebina Beer, a brewery long beloved in the area, and Better Life with Upcycle, known for its sustainable brewing practices. Breweries from Yokohama, Chigasaki, Shonan, and other parts of the prefecture are also joining the lineup, bringing a diverse range of styles.

This year's event also welcomes two sake breweries: Izumibashi from Ebina City and Afuri from Isehara City. With both craft beer and Japanese sake on offer, there's something for a wide range of tastes — from first-timers to seasoned enthusiasts.

Feature 2: An Event with Sustainability in Mind

Good beer starts with clean water and fresh ingredients, and Ebina Booze Fest is taking steps to protect that environment. The event uses reusable cups and dedicated rinsers to reduce plastic waste. These cups can also be used at future editions of the event, so attendees are encouraged to hold onto them.

Reusable cups from past events organized by the same operator — such as Shimokita Craft Beer Fest — are also accepted at the venue.

Feature 3: Food, Music, and Local Market

Alongside the drinks, the venue features 10 food stalls, several of which are from local Ebina businesses. Highlights include Chuka Ubukata / Yakitori Ubuchan, offering yakitori with a special sauce made from locally grown Ebina vegetables; Noka Shokudo, serving tempura and other dishes using seasonal local ingredients; TottySecond Block Party, which won the 2025 Ebina Umai Mon Grand Prix; and a kitchen car from The Wings Ebina.

DJ music is provided by CAGHIYA MUSIC, a project run by CAGHIYA BREWERY, a craft brewery based in Kanagawa. A local vegetable market is also held at the venue, where fresh produce from Ebina's farms will be on sale. Additionally, cornhole — an outdoor game originally from the United States — will be available for all ages to enjoy.
