Italian & Wine Bar CONA Hosts "Ohanami Bar 2026" With Cherry Blossoms and 5 New Spring Menu Items

Italian & Wine Bar CONA is bringing the joy of hanami (cherry blossom viewing) indoors with its spring event, "Ohanami Bar 2026", running from Sunday, March 1 to Thursday, April 30, 2026.

The highlight of the event is full-bloom cherry blossom décor filling the store interior. Guests can enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms without worrying about weather, temperatures, or crowded outdoor spots — right in the neighborhood they know. Five new spring-limited menu items themed around "cherry blossoms and strawberries" are being offered throughout the event period.

Authentic Wood-Fired Pizza and More, Starting at 500 yen (tax included: 550 yen)

Italian & Wine Bar CONA, with over 45 locations nationwide, is recognized for its outstanding value. The signature wood-fired pizza starts at just 500 yen (tax included: 550 yen) per pizza — each made with a unique homemade dough stretched by hand for every order and baked at high temperature in a kiln. Each pizza measures approximately 25 cm in diameter, with more than 30 varieties ranging from classic flavors to dessert pizzas.

A range of side dishes also starts at 500 yen (tax included: 550 yen), and bottle wines are available from 1,900 yen (tax included: 2,090 yen).

Cherry Blossoms Without the Hassle of Crowds or Weather

Spring means cherry blossom season, but outdoor hanami often comes with challenges: uncertain weather, cold temperatures, and competition for a good spot. Italian & Wine Bar CONA's "Ohanami Bar 2026" offers an alternative: step through the door and find yourself surrounded by cherry trees in full bloom overhead. Guests can enjoy the nighttime cherry blossom scenery with a glass of wine in hand — effortlessly, any day of the week.

Spring-Limited Menu: 5 New Items

Prosciutto and Strawberry Mascarpone
700 yen (tax included: 770 yen)

Fresh seasonal strawberries are paired with creamy mascarpone and the rich saltiness of aged prosciutto. A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and rich honey brings the flavors together into a harmonious balance of sweetness, acidity, and salt — with a fruity finish that signals the arrival of spring. It pairs well with wine as the opening dish of an evening out.

Strawberry and Marshmallow Dessert Pizza
700 yen (tax included: 770 yen)

Made with CONA's signature house-made Roman-style pizza dough prepared fresh for each order, this dessert pizza is topped with rich custard, soft marshmallows, and fresh strawberries before being baked. The crispy, light thin crust complements the sweetness of the melted marshmallow and the fresh acidity of the strawberries. Finished with powdered sugar and fresh mint that evokes a gentle spring snowfall.

Mascarpone Pudding with Strawberry Amaou Ice Cream
500 yen (tax included: 550 yen)

A new dessert served in a traditional wooden masu cup for a Japanese-modern presentation. House-made, rich mascarpone pudding is topped generously with Strawberry Amaou ice cream. Enjoy it as-is first — savoring the creaminess of the pudding alongside the refreshing sweetness of the ice cream — then add the included strawberry sauce for an even richer, fruit-forward experience.

Sakura Sparkling
600 yen (tax included: 660 yen)

A spring-colored sparkling cocktail that captures the cherry blossom season in a glass. Chilled sparkling wine is blended with cherry blossom liqueur, and a preserved cherry blossom flower floats on the pale pink surface. The bubbles carry a delicate cherry blossom fragrance, making it as beautiful to look at as it is to drink — best enjoyed while gazing at the store's in-house cherry blossom décor.

Sakura Salt Lemon Sour
500 yen (tax included: 550 yen)

A spring update to the popular frozen lemon sour. Loads of frozen lemon pieces are layered with cherry blossom liqueur in a soft pink gradient. A preserved cherry blossom flower adds a gentle hint of saltiness that complements the sourness of the lemon. The photogenic gradient makes it a fitting drink for the spring season.
