The fighting game FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (Japanese title: 餓狼伝説 City of the Wolves) from SNK went on sale for Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday, October 22, 2026. A launch trailer introducing the play styles unique to the Nintendo Switch 2 version and the appeal of the game has also been released.

Two Editions for Nintendo Switch 2
On Nintendo Switch 2, the full fighting action of the game can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere. There are two editions to choose from, depending on play style and preference.
- Standard Edition: ¥2,970 (tax included). Includes the base game only and is sold as a digital version only.
- Starter Edition: ¥3,960 (tax included) for the digital version. Includes the base game plus additional content such as the contents of Season Pass 1 to 3.
The digital version is on sale now at the Nintendo eShop. In addition to the digital version, the Starter Edition also comes as a package version, scheduled for release on January 21, 2027 (Thursday), with pre-orders to begin on a rolling basis.
The package version comes with an early purchase bonus, an alternate costume for Mai Shiranui, one of the most popular characters in the series.

Free Play Styles and Intuitive Controls on Nintendo Switch 2
The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports handheld mode, tabletop mode and TV mode, so the battles can be played wherever players like.
