Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi is launching the "Pokemon 30th Anniversary Collaboration Grand Adventure" stay plans to celebrate the Pokémon franchise's 30th anniversary. Running from June 20 to August 26, 2026, the plans offer stays in Pokémon-decorated guest rooms themed around "adventure."
Two plans are available: a suite stay limited to one room per day, and a standard stay limited to eight rooms per day. A total of nine rooms have been transformed with Pokémon-themed decorations — featuring greenery and flowers as a base, alongside artwork and decorations of Pokémon from the original Pokémon Red and Green games — creating the feel of embarking on a Pokémon adventure. All rooms feature Pikachu flying off on a balloon adventure among the decorations.
The suite room features a different Pokémon type theme in each area: Grass-type Pokémon such as Bulbasaur and Tangela in the living room, Fire-type Pokémon including Charmander and Vulpix in the bedroom, and Water-type Pokémon like Squirtle and Lapras in the bathroom.
Both stay plans include breakfast featuring "Soaring Pikachu Pancakes" — pancakes branded with an imprint of Pikachu flying with a balloon. Suite guests additionally receive the "Soaring Pikachu Gourmet Burger Set" dinner delivered to the room: an all-yellow Pikachu-themed set featuring a burger with house-made ketchup sauce, curry fries, cold corn soup, and a Pikachu yellow soda. Collaboration amenity goods are included in both plans and can be taken home.
Additionally, the hotel's restaurants and pastry boutique plan to offer collaboration special menus, with further details to be announced at a later date.
Pokémon 30th Anniversary Collaboration Grand Adventure Suite Stay — 1 Room Per Day
The suite plan features a stay in the Chairman Suite, a 120 m² room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Tokyo cityscape and Mt. Fuji. The room displays a total of 30 Pikachu — including Pikachu on a balloon adventure — along with decorations and artwork of Pokémon from Pokémon Red and Green.

Pokémon 30th Anniversary Collaboration Grand Adventure Stay — 8 Rooms Per Day
The standard plan rooms also feature Pokémon-themed decorations. The bedhead area is decorated with greenery and Pokémon from Pokémon Red and Green, with four artworks depicting Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu. Near the room entrance, a large mirror features Snorlax, Eevee, and other Pokémon to welcome guests.
Breakfast is served at the all-day dining restaurant French Kitchen, where the buffet includes "Soaring Pikachu Pancakes." The buffet features a wide variety of dishes prepared at an open kitchen using carefully selected ingredients, including free-range eggs, alongside bread freshly baked each morning in the hotel's on-site bakery.
The standard plan also includes original collaboration amenity goods: a passport case, T-shirt, hat, and tote bag, all featuring adventure-themed designs.
