Fukuoka-based creative food brand Harapecolab is restocking its popular ice tart, the Birthstone Tart – April Diamond, which sold out immediately the last time it was released. Starting April 10, 2026 (Friday) at 12:00 PM, 20 units will be available through the brand's official online store.
The Birthstone Tart – April Diamond
Each month, Harapecolab crafts a limited-quantity special ice cake series inspired by that month's birthstone. The April edition pays tribute to the diamond, with its gem-like brilliance expressed through hand-cut agar confections. The tart features agar pieces in yellow, pink, and blue hues, capturing the varied sparkle of different diamond types.
Each agar decoration is hand-cut fresh, giving every tart a one-of-a-kind appearance. The tart base uses an original cassata cream made from quality ricotta cheese and fresh cream, incorporating pistachios, cashews, red currants, and Belgian chocolate for texture. Raspberry and lemon peel lend a refreshing acidity that balances the overall richness.
Comes with a Diamond Stone Language Card
April's birthstone, the diamond, carries the symbolic meanings of "eternal love," "constancy," and "purity." Each tart ships with a card describing these meanings, making it a thoughtful gift as well as a personal treat.

Harapecolab's monthly limited "Koubutsu o Kashi" (mineral-inspired confections) for April features "Diamond" and "Morganite" rendered in hand-cut amber sugar (kohakuto). The candy delivers the characteristic kohakuto texture — crisp on the outside, soft and melting within.
The lineup includes a diamond representing "eternal bonds and purity," the Herkimer Diamond (known as a "dream crystal" said to awaken talent and dreams), and a soft-pink Morganite that adds a spring-like accent.
