H&M Studio's Resort 2026 collection is set to launch on May 21, drawing inspiration from the South of France to capture the region's unique blend of free-spirited creativity and effortless glamour.
The collection features lightweight dresses, caftans, and crochet knits alongside tailoring that balances softness with structured silhouettes. Embroidery, rope detailing, handkerchief hems, and antique-style buttons add a crafted, artisanal accent throughout. The overall mood evokes an unhurried elegance — morning swims, open-air markets, and warm evenings that stretch into an endless golden hour.

The color palette combines sun-baked yellow, burnt ochre, and sandy beige with clean white, black, and deep navy. Breathable summer fabrics — linen, cotton, and viscose — make up the core materials. Key pieces carry a sense of escape, emphasizing imperfect beauty and natural ease over a polished finish.

Standout pieces include a white cotton blouse-and-mini-skirt set with a sailor collar, embroidery, and a handkerchief hem; a long crochet sleeveless dress in burnt ochre with a sunflower motif; and a high-leg-slit, racerback, ruffled design. The lineup also features a yellow maxi dress with an open back, ruffle seams, and contrast stitching.

A beige linen-blend blazer features a pointed collar, a vertical button arrangement, and a silhouette that gently highlights the waistline. The matching shorts have a clean, slightly A-line cut. Also in the collection is a white cotton dress that reinterprets an apron-style silhouette through a draped bust design, embroidered straps, and a generous volume.
Accessories include a burnt-ochre triangle bikini with an abstract sunflower print, red leather thong kitten-heel sandals, boat-shoe-inspired mules, a butter-yellow baguette bag, green oval sunglasses, and sunflower-shaped earrings.
"With H&M Studio Resort 2026, I wanted to capture the wonderful duality of the South of France — its bohemian creativity and its effortless glamour. That tension is woven into every detail, from the embroidery to the relaxed drape of the fabrics, creating pieces that feel both artistic and refined. And then by adding sailor-inspired details, we gave it a slightly edgy, undone feel." — Kathrin Deutsch, H&M Studio Collection Designer
The Resort 2026 collection launches at H&M Shibuya and the official online store (hm.com) starting May 21. The womenswear line includes 23 pieces, with prices ranging from ¥1,999 to ¥14,999 (tax included).
