Horoyoi Special Train

Fujikyu Travel Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture) and Fujisan Sanroku Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujikawaguchiko Town, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture) will operate the 33rd New Year Brewery Opening "Horoyoi Special Train," a collaborative event with Ide Brewery, the only sake brewery in the Fuji Five Lakes area, on February 21, 2026 (Saturday).

This special train coincides with "Kai no Kaiun 33rd New Year Brewery Opening" held at Ide Brewery, the sole sake producer in the Fuji Five Lakes region. The train uses the "Fuji Tozan Train," a sightseeing train designed to enhance the Mount Fuji experience, and offers passengers a unique experience of tasting three types of Japanese sake paired with three types of snacks. Passengers can enjoy special limited sake available only at the direct store, breathtaking Mount Fuji scenery with storytelling, and the depth of Japanese sake culture on this tipsy railway journey to the brewery.

In addition, to celebrate the brewery opening event, on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd, regular trains decorated with the traditional "Kai no Kaiun" commemorative headmark will run as the "Kai no Kaiun Brewery Opening Train" from Otsuki Station to Kawaguchiko Station where Ide Brewery is located, making all stops.

Through this train, the travel time to the brewery opening venue itself becomes a "special experience," while promoting train usage among participants and mutual customer exchange to expand regional interaction.
