Hotel Laforet Nasu (Yumoto, Nasu-machi, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture) is launching a limited summer accommodation plan, "Festival Ticket & Buggy Experience Plan," running from July 18 (Saturday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026. The plan packages a forest cottage stay with in-hotel festival activities, a breakfast buffet featuring seasonal Nasu ingredients, and a buggy experience set in the natural landscape of the Nasu highlands.

Guests arrive at the hotel and head straight to the in-hotel festival, where shooting galleries, ring tosses, and colorful rows of dagashi (traditional penny candies) recreate the nostalgic atmosphere of a Japanese summer fair. The indoor setting means the fun continues regardless of weather, and the sight of children taking careful aim or proudly carrying home their prizes adds to the lively, summery mood. In the evenings, guests settle into forest cottages surrounded by the Nasu woods, then ease tired bodies in the milky-white sulfurous hot spring characteristic of Nasu Onsen. The next morning starts with a breakfast buffet built around fresh, seasonal Nasu ingredients. After a leisurely morning at the hotel, the day continues with a buggy ride through the Nasu highlands — an exhilarating dash through the forest that feels like an adventure for children and a lighthearted escape for adults.
Forest Cottage Stay
Guests stay in forest cottages nestled in the Nasu woods. The hot spring at the hotel features the milky-white, sulfurous water that Nasu Onsen is known for — a natural wind-down after a day packed with activities.

In-Hotel Activity: Festival Games
The in-hotel festival brings together nostalgic games — shooting galleries, ring tosses — alongside a spread of colorful dagashi. Open to all ages and held indoors, the event draws natural smiles and conversation from families regardless of the weather outside. Guests can drop in at any point during their stay.

Buggy Experience
The buggy experience takes place on a course set within the rich natural surroundings of the Nasu highlands. Riders carve through the forest, taking in sweeping scenery and the fresh highland air that Nasu offers in abundance. Staff are on hand to guide first-timers through the controls, making the activity accessible to those with no prior experience. Parents and children share the same view from the same vantage point, adding up to a highlight of the trip.
