InterContinental Yokohama Grand (1-1-1 Minato Mirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa) will be selling "Chocolat Valentine" assortments of original bonbon chocolates at the 2nd floor Gourmet & Souvenir shop "Eye Marina" from Monday, January 19, 2026 through Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Bonbon chocolates, where various fillings are delicately coated one by one with chocolate, represent the high skill and sensibility of chocolatiers expressed in a single piece—truly "chocolate artistry."
All of the hotel's bonbon chocolates are original creations by the Chef Pâtissier, who is also a chocolatier, crafted without compromise on every aspect from aroma and flavor to texture, the smooth melt-in-your-mouth feel, and the lingering finish. Each piece delivers a delightful taste that brings smiles.
The 2026 Chocolat Valentine collection introduces four new flavors: "Raspberry Coco," "Fleur Marin," "Apricot Milk," and "Bihada Saicha." Of particular note are Fleur Marin and Bihada Saicha, which transform the hotel's popular original blend teas—served at the 2nd floor Lounge & Bar "Marine Blue" and the 31st floor Chinese restaurant "Karyu" respectively—into chocolate creations. Fleur Marin features a Ceylon-based tea with elegant aromas of rose, jasmine, and bergamot, while Bihada Saicha combines Earl Grey with lychee and osmanthus.
This year's collection includes all 18 varieties of bonbon chocolates—the 4 new creations plus 14 classics—available in 9-piece, 6-piece, and 3-piece assortments.
Additionally, the limited-edition Valentine's special box "Bijou" will be newly released in a limited quantity of 10 boxes.

Named "Bijou" (meaning "jewel" in French), this three-tiered assortment box features 9 pieces of all 18 varieties of bonbon chocolates in each of the top two tiers, while the bottom tier contains 2 types of special almond chocolates made with rare Marcona almonds—known as the "queen of almonds"—caramelized and coated in chocolate, along with 3 chocolates shaped like the hotel's exterior.
This luxurious white box accented with cobalt blue, resembling a jewelry box, is perfect as a gift for someone special or important people in your life.
