JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura (1-1-1 Asano, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture) has created an original folding fan bearing the hotel logo, and from October 1, 2026, a limited number of them will come as a bonus with a special stay plan.
The fan was developed in collaboration with Kokura Shimashima (小倉 縞縞), which continues to restore and revive Kokura-ori (小倉織), a traditional craft passed down in the region since the Edo period, while taking on the challenge of creating new kinds of Kokura-ori. The project grew out of the hotel's wish for guests to feel Kokura's culture, history and traditions, and to come to love the town even more.

- Plan name: 「～風を纏う～小倉 縞縞扇子付き宿泊プラン」 (a stay plan that includes a Kokura Shimashima folding fan)
- What's included: A hotel stay with an original Kokura-ori folding fan as a bonus. Each fan comes with a fan bag, a gift box and a booklet introducing Kokura-ori.
- Fan allowance: One fan per room, per night. The fan is not sold separately.
