VILLAGE VANGUARD will hold a limited-time pop-up shop themed on a circus troupe, bringing together the characters of the popular creator KAWAISOUNI! (可哀想に！). The pop-up shop, titled "KAWAISOUNI! Gira Gira Circus Troupe in VILLAGE VANGUARD," will open at venues across Japan in sequence starting in November 2026.
The theme is the "KAWAISOUNI! Gira Gira Circus Troupe" (可哀想に！ギラギラサーカス団), billed as the most popular troupe in the galaxy. Limited-edition goods packed with the charm of the distinctive characters will be available, along with plenty of games, workshops, and other activities that everyone can enjoy. Visitors can become members of the troupe and enjoy special experiences found only here with Npochamu (んぽちゃむ), Opanchu (おぱんちゅ), and the other characters.

Visitors can join the "KAWAISOUNI! Gira Gira Circus Troupe." In addition, photo spots such as face-in-hole panels let visitors get into the role of circus troupe members.

Circus Practice Disaster
Opanchu is hard at work! Scattered balls and clubs and torn practice notes are on display. Will everything be ready in time for the show? Visitors can follow the trail of Opanchu's struggles.
Games
Npochamu's Macaron Balance Game
Players stack macarons in balance on a round board that spins around. How many can you stack? A venue-exclusive acrylic keychain is offered as the prize.

Zombie Ball Toss Game
Face a horde of zombies and rescue the two captives! Throw balls to take aim at the zombies. However, hitting Npochamu or Kimimaro (きみまろ) costs you points. Can you aim carefully and rescue the two safely? A venue-exclusive acrylic stand is given depending on the number of zombies defeated.

President in Peril!
Earn points while being careful not to aim at the President, who has become a target. Watch the movement closely and aim for a high score! An acrylic clip is given depending on your score.

Workshops
Iron-On Sheet
Produce your own "KAWAISOUNI!" goods. In this workshop, visitors can freely customize tote bags and drawstring pouches using iron-on print sheets designed with Opanchu, Npochamu, and circus goods. The finished result depends on the design, so the possibilities are endless. It is a way to make everyday outings more fun.
Custom Patch
Put your own name or your favorite's name on a one-of-a-kind original key ring. The name tag part comes in a choice of three colors. In this workshop, visitors can freely combine letters and characters to create their own design. It would also look cute on an everyday bag or a travel bag.
Custom Acrylic Charm
Make an accessory using venue-exclusive acrylic charms. The finished piece looks cute attached to a bag or worn on the arm.
In-Mall Rally
Looking for Lost Items!
Npochamu has a favor to ask of everyone. Important props used for the "Gira Gira Circus Troupe" have been dropped all over the place. Visitors who find all of the lost items receive an original sticker available only here. Help save the circus of Npochamu and friends together.
