A new Moomin adventure game, Moomin: Midsummer Madness, is getting a hands-on launch event at Cocoon City in Saitama. The free event, "Let's Play Together! Moomin: Midsummer Madness Release Commemoration Experience Plaza in Cocoon City," takes place on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, 2026.
Moomin: Midsummer Madness is a point-and-click adventure game inspired by Tove Jansson's novel. It is scheduled for release on Thursday, November 12 on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. To let visitors experience the world of the game in real life, the event offers a game demo corner, a photo spot, an in-mall stamp rally and more. It is open to Moomin fans, people who do not usually play games, and families alike.

- Visitors who collect all three stamps receive an original sticker. Stickers are limited in quantity and will be given out while supplies last. Each person can receive one sticker per day, and the final sticker handout is at 6:00 PM.
Special Sale at a Store in the Complex
To coincide with the event, a special display and sale of Moomin: Midsummer Madness will be held at Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Saitama-Shintoshin Ekimae Store (ヨドバシカメラ マルチメディアさいたま新都心駅前店) on Cocoon 3, B1F. Visitors can buy the game there right after playing at the event.
About Moomin: Midsummer Madness
One day, while Moomintroll is waiting for Snufkin, who has not returned from his travels, Moomin Valley is suddenly hit by a great flood. As the Moomin family drifts on the water, they arrive at a strange building: a mysterious theater filled with costumes, scripts and the "magic" unique to the stage.
The game features many memorable scenes recreated with deep love and respect for the original work, along with a new original adventure.
