KOKUYO will exhibit products born from its inclusive design process, HOWS DESIGN, at Interior Lifestyle Tokyo (34th edition), running from June 10 (Wednesday) to June 12 (Friday), 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight.
Interior Lifestyle Tokyo is an international trade fair bringing together brands across lifestyle categories — from gifts and furniture to fashion accessories — offering a showcase of future lifestyle proposals.
At this year's exhibition, KOKUYO is presenting products developed through its HOWS DESIGN approach. Alongside product features and specifications, each display highlights the story behind the item's creation — including the dialogues and barrier-awareness moments that inspired it.

Products on Display
(1) Scissors <Saxa>
The Saxa scissors series, revamped in 2024, delivers light cutting performance all the way to the blade tip. Equipped with the proprietary "Inclined Insert" structure — which reduces the gap between blades as the handle opens and closes — the scissors are especially effective on thin materials like vinyl. The design aims to provide a comfortable cutting experience regardless of the user's dominant hand or skill level. The series received the Grand Prix at the 34th Japan Stationery Award (2025).

(2) Toss
Launched in January 2026, Toss is a café chair designed to complement the posture and movements of dining and conversation. A wood-grain aesthetic creates a casual, warm atmosphere. An S-shaped back contour that follows the spine, combined with a rounded seat designed for ease of turning toward conversation partners, delivers comfortable seating suited to mealtimes and socializing.
