The works and theses exhibited at the graduation and completion exhibitions represent each student's final masterpiece.
However, this is not the goal. After entering society, they will be further refined, and each individual's uniqueness will shine even brighter.
This year's key visual was also designed by an alumnus designer with the message to underclassmen: "This light is a sign toward the future and the very possibility of what lies ahead."
We hope you will sense the "light" that envelops the entire campus from the many works and theses that will shine even brighter from here on.

About Kyoto University of the Arts
As Japan's largest arts university, the institution brings together over 23,000 motivated students of diverse ages from both within Japan and abroad across both on-campus and correspondence education programs. The university cultivates the skills necessary for society through art. With the educational goal of "Art Nation" where students who have studied art change society, on-campus programs particularly emphasize the relationship between "society and art" in arts education. The university implements over 100 "social implementation projects" annually, where students solve issues faced by companies and local governments through the power of art and design. Through cross-disciplinary group work and real-world projects, the university nurtures expressive individuals with social consciousness.
