Puella Magi Madoka Magica is an original anime project helmed by director Akiyuki Shinbo, screenwriter Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), character designer Ume Aoki, and animation studio Shaft.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgisnacht Rising, the direct sequel to 2013's Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion, is set to open in theaters on August 28, 2026.

Madoka and the Four Other Magical Girls Join the withCAT Lineup
withCAT is a cat-themed character series designed to let fans carry their favorite characters with them in a low-key, everyday way. The included eye mask can be swapped to change the character's expression, and a wire-inserted tail can be posed so the plush stands on its own — endless arrangements are possible.
The Plus version adds an item part: the handheld weapon is removable.
Enjoy playing around with a variety of arrangements.
