About the Event
Following the successful "Matcha Green Tea Marche" held at Yoyogi Park's "Green Ireland Festival 2025" in March 2025, where nine shops from across Japan participated to great success, many voices expressed interest in attending another matcha event.
With the current unprecedented "matcha boom" where production cannot keep up with demand, this event aims to let more people enjoy matcha menu items and learn about the diverse ways to enjoy matcha culture through hands-on experience.
*The organizers and some vendors are also considering proposals to expand matcha consumption in daily life (so-called "home matcha") as a result of this event.
"World Tea Festival 2025" consists of two events, the "Spring Festival" and "Autumn Festival," to allow visitors to enjoy the charm of Japanese tea throughout the year.
The Autumn Festival will implement various programs in three categories: "#Buy OCHA," "#Experience OCHA," and "#Learn about OCHA."
