A limited-time "Mishima Kansho Piyorin" will be on sale from Sunday, November 15 to Monday, November 23 (national holiday), 2026. Piyorin is an original dessert created by JR Tokai Food Service Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture). This special version uses "Mishima Kansho," a specialty of Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and one of the "Hakone Seiroku Mishima Yasai" (Mishima vegetables from the western foothills of Hakone).
Limited-Time Mishima Kansho Piyorin
This Piyorin is inspired by "Mishima Kansho," a branded sweet potato from Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture. A bavarois flavored with Mishima Kansho gently wraps rich pudding made with Nagoya Cochin eggs and Mishima Kansho jelly. The purple crest and wings express the color of the sweet potato. The Mishima Kansho paste is made with the "Beni Azuma" variety, so the dessert brings together the flavor of the sweet potato and the smooth taste of the pudding, making it a fitting treat for autumn.

What is Mishima Kansho?
Mishima Kansho is a branded sweet potato grown in the Hakone western foothills area of Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is nurtured by the volcanic ash soil of Mt. Fuji, abundant spring water, south-facing slopes with plenty of sunshine, and the temperature difference between day and night. It is characterized by a high sugar content and a refined sweetness, and is one of Mishima City's representative specialties, highly regarded throughout Japan.
What is Piyorin?
Piyorin is a fresh dessert made with pudding using eggs from Nagoya Cochin chickens, a local ingredient from Aichi Prefecture. The pudding is wrapped in vanilla-scented bavarois and coated with powdered sponge cake, then decorated into a fluffy chick shape.
It is sold at stores inside Nagoya Station and at a store attached to its manufacturing workshop in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture.
Piyorin celebrated its 15th anniversary on July 1, 2026.
