Asahi Soft Drinks Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tokyo, President Kayoko Kondo) is releasing "三ツ矢冷やし和梨" (Mitsuya Cold Japanese Pear) as a limited-time product starting July 7.
"三ツ矢冷やし和梨" is a carbonated beverage crafted with Japanese pear juice and domestically sourced Japanese pear extract (※). The drink delivers a juicy, refreshing sweetness reminiscent of biting into a chilled Japanese pear. Compared to conventional production methods, the "Fruit-Enhancing Method" — which lowers the temperature during heat sterilization — is used to bring out the full flavor of the fruit.
※ "Domestically sourced" refers to the Japanese pear used as the raw material for the extract.
The packaging features an illustration of Japanese pears alongside fireworks, evoking a sense of Japanese summer. The product name "冷やし和梨" (Cold Japanese Pear) and the label text "国産和梨エキス使用" (Made with Domestically Sourced Japanese Pear Extract) are prominently displayed to clearly communicate the product's key features.
