The Yokohama Doll Museum (横浜人形の家) is currently hosting "Marutto Obitsu Seisakusho" (まるっとオビツ製作所), a special exhibition celebrating the 60th anniversary of Obitsu Seisakusho (オビツ製作所), a Tokyo-based maker of soft vinyl dolls and figures. Starting Sunday, November 1, new products led by the commemorative model doll "Yaesaka Shino Yokohama Nostalgia." (八重坂しの Yokohama Nostalgia.) will go on sale in connection with the exhibition.
The exhibition features 1,000 Obitsu Kewpie® (オビツキューピー) dolls certified by Guinness World Records™, along with projection mapping centered on a giant 2-meter-tall gold Kewpie doll, charming dolls, and a wide variety of Kewpie dolls. The space lets visitors experience Obitsu Seisakusho's world of craftsmanship "marutto" (まるっと), or all in one go.

This special model draws inspiration from the atmosphere of the port town of Yokohama and the fairy tale "The Red Shoes" (赤い靴). The costume was designed by 赤いカメラ and features a vintage-style dress, a sailor collar, red shoes, and dark brown braids.

60th Anniversary Sticker Giveaway
From Sunday, November 1, the first 200 people to purchase a ticket to "Marutto Obitsu Seisakusho" will receive a 60th anniversary commemorative sticker.
