Ocean Expo Park in Motobu-cho, Okinawa will hold the "Ocean Expo Park Summer Festival 2026" on Saturday, July 4, 2026. As part of the festival, the "Churaumi Fireworks Show 2026" will light up the night sky with approximately 10,000 fireworks — one of the largest displays in Okinawa Prefecture — over Emerald Beach. Traffic restrictions will be in place on the surrounding roads during the event, so visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Cancelled in case of bad weather (no postponement). Cancellation decision will be announced by 11:00 AM on the day.

Restricted Areas:
① Town Road No. 16 — 6:00 PM to midnight: Traffic restrictions due to shuttle bus operations
② Prefectural Road No. 114 — 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM: No entry toward Ocean Expo Park from the Ocean Expo Park entrance intersection
8:20 PM to 11:00 PM: One-way traffic restriction from Ocean Expo Park (Parking Lot P7 exit) toward the Ocean Expo Park entrance intersection
