Ogikubo Three Gardens (Suginami Ward, Tokyo) will host an "Artist-in-Residence" from January 17 (Saturday) to February 11 (Wednesday, holiday), 2026. This marks the first time the Ogikubo Three Gardens has undertaken such a program.
What is Artist-in-Residence?
Artist-in-Residence is a cultural program where artists stay in a location different from their usual environment and conduct research, creation, and presentation while cherishing the relationship with the place's nature, history, and people.
How to Enjoy the Ogikubo Three Gardens Artist-in-Residence
・Production takes place in an environment rich in history, culture, and greenery at the Ogikubo Three Gardens.
・Visitors can observe the production process and participate in related events such as workshops.
・We value not only the "finished work" but also the "production process." The time when the artist is in contemplation is also an important part of the production - listening, sensing the atmosphere. Please experience the "sounds" in this space.
