61st Original Famous Ekiben and Delicacies Fair of Japan Overview:
Since the opening of Keio Department Store Shinjuku in November 1964 and the first ekiben fair in February 1966, this event has been held annually and will celebrate its 61st edition in January 2026.
The fair features approximately 380 varieties of ekiben, including those made with regional ingredients and cooking methods, containers using local specialty products, and collaborative ekiben featuring popular anime characters and regional mascots.
Dates: January 6 (Tuesday) to January 21 (Wednesday), 2026 (16 days)
Hours: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM ※Closing at 5:00 PM on January 14 (Wednesday) and January 21 (Wednesday, final day)

What is Piyorin?
Piyorin is a fresh dessert made with pudding using eggs from Nagoya Cochin chickens, a local ingredient from Aichi Prefecture. The pudding is wrapped in vanilla-scented bavarian cream and coated with powdered sponge cake, then decorated into a fluffy chick shape.
It is sold at stores inside Nagoya Station and at a manufacturing workshop retail store in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture.
