Rickshaw Tours Connect Shiba Park's History, Culture, and Autumn Colors
The Prince Park Tower Tokyo (4-8-1 Shiba Koen, Minato-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Yasutoshi Kanda) is introducing "Shiba Park Autumn Rickshaw Tour," a limited-time experience touring the history, culture, and seasonal scenery of Shiba Park by rickshaw, under the theme of "musubu" (to connect), running from Sunday, November 1 through Monday, November 30, 2026.
Shiba Park has drawn people together since the Edo period, weaving a rich history and culture over the centuries. The tour was built around the idea of "connecting" — the passage of time from the Edo period to the present Reiwa era, the bonds between people, the ties between the hotel and its surrounding neighborhood, and the harvest of autumn.
Setting off from the hotel, guests travel by rickshaw through Shiba Park, passing sites such as Zojoji Temple and Momiji Valley while taking in trees dressed in autumn color and seasonal views of Tokyo Tower. After the tour, guests can continue to enjoy autumn flavors at the hotel's restaurants and bars.
Two plans are available: a 120-minute "Premium Plan," supervised by Takashi Sawauchi, head of the Shrines and Temples Committee at the Minato City Tourism Association, which includes a stop at Zojoji Temple for an in-depth look at the area's history and culture; and a 90-minute "Shooting Plan," which takes in autumn scenery and different views of Tokyo Tower from around Shiba Park while leaving time for photography.
Together, the two plans are designed to bring guests a special moment in Shiba Park that connects history and culture, autumn scenery, people and place, and the season's harvest.

Hotel → Shiba Park Area 1
Departing from the hotel's south entrance, the rickshaw heads to Shiba Park Area 1, which offers views of Tokyo Tower. This historic area is home to Shibamaruyama Kofun, one of the largest ancient burial mounds in Tokyo, and a monument to Ino Tadataka. Renewed this past April, it also features a plum grove and a waterside area.
Zojoji Temple
The head temple of the Jodo sect and the funerary temple of the Tokugawa shogunate, Zojoji offers views that blend history and the present, with Tokyo Tower rising behind it.
Shiba Park Areas 4 and 5
The route continues along tree-lined paths of camphor and zelkova trees, taking in views of Tokyo Tower and historic sites along the way.
Shiba Park Area 10 → Return to Hotel
The tour returns to the hotel while taking in the scenery of Shiba Park. Guests can then unwind at the hotel's top-floor Sky Bar & Dining Stellar Garden, with views of Tokyo Tower lit up against the night skyline.

Hotel → Shiba Park Area 23, Assembly Plaza
The rickshaw departs the hotel for Area 23, one of the quieter corners of Shiba Park. Its main feature is a stand of dawn redwoods growing in straight rows; visitors can also look for an old ginkgo tree standing alone deep within the grove.
→ Shiba Park Area 19, Momiji Valley
The route continues to Momiji Valley, a man-made ravine spreading out directly beneath Tokyo Tower. Around 200 maple trees across nine varieties turn color here, offering fall foliage views along the way.
→ Arrival at Tokyo Tower
The tour ends at Tokyo Tower, where guests can take in views of the city from the Main Deck.
