SAUNAGA (サウナガ), a members-only sauna facility in Nagano City, held its grand opening on April 11, 2026. Housed in a traditional pyramid-roofed (hōgyō-zukuri) wooden building, the facility accommodates up to 15 guests on a reservation-only basis.
The sauna uses a top-of-the-line METOS ZIEL heater, maintaining the sauna room between 91°C and 93°C, while the cold-water bath is kept at a constant 15°C. Originally launched as a men-only venue, SAUNAGA added women's slots in response to strong demand during its pre-opening period.

All subscription plans include a grand opening campaign: the second month's fee is waived for new sign-ups.
Men's Plans
Full-Access Plans (all operating hours)

Both plans come with 4 free guest-companion vouchers and priority access to weekday daytime slots (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
Weekday Routine Plan (Monday, Wednesday, Friday — 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Mon/Wed/Fri DAY Owner: ¥8,800 per month
Attending three times a week averages approximately ¥676 per visit.
A single-visit experience ticket for men's hours is available at ¥3,000 for a 100-minute session (extended from 90 minutes as a grand opening special).
Women's Plans (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
"Solo" DAY Owner: ¥5,980 per month
For those looking for a quiet, uninterrupted session. Attending twice a week averages approximately ¥683 per visit.
"Pair" DAY Owner: ¥11,000 per month
One companion attends free with every visit. The per-person cost works out to ¥5,500 per month, or around ¥629 per visit when attending twice a week.
A women's pair experience ticket is also available at ¥5,000 for two (normally ¥3,000 per person), valid on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Amenities and Facilities
The facility places a strong emphasis on cleanliness as part of its members-only model. Staff-selected skincare products, MARKS&WEB bath sets, and Muji-brand toiletries are provided for all guests. The powder room is equipped with four SALONIA hair dryers, and poncho and swimwear rentals are available on-site.
Official Mascot "Saunaga-kun" and Original Merchandise
SAUNAGA has unveiled its official mascot character, "Saunaga-kun," modeled after a red panda. Original merchandise including T-shirts, sauna goods, and stickers (¥330 each) is available for purchase in-store.
