BONAVENTURA Launches "SAVOIA COLLECTION VOL.2" in Collaboration with Italy's House of Savoy

The second collaboration between Milan-based luxury brand BONAVENTURA and Italy's historic House of Savoy, "SAVOIA COLLECTION VOL.2," became available starting February 26, 2026.

Following the first collection released in 2024, which received widespread acclaim, this second installment features BONAVENTURA's signature shrink leather dyed in "Savoia Blue" — the symbolic color of the House of Savoy — across a special range of products.

The collection brings together the dignity of the House of Savoy — one of Europe's oldest noble families with a history spanning nearly 1,000 years — and BONAVENTURA's design philosophy of "Beyond Luxury," which pursues true inner richness. The result is a collection where Italian history and contemporary design come together.

The roots of the iconic Savoia Blue trace back to the 14th century, when Amedeo VI raised a blue flag on his ship — representing the color of the Virgin Mary's robes — to seek her protection during the Crusades. Today, this color serves as Italy's national color, featured on the national football team's uniforms and the presidential flag. Through BONAVENTURA's craftsmanship, the color finds new expression in contemporary lifestyle products.

The House of Savoy

The House of Savoy is one of Europe's oldest royal families, with a history spanning over a thousand years.

After ruling the Kingdom of Sicily and the Kingdom of Sardinia, the family founded the Kingdom of Italy in 1861 and became the Italian royal family.

The family continues to lead a medieval knightly order, organizing charitable activities, charity dinners, and palace balls through the order in Europe, the Americas, Japan, and other parts of the world.

The current head of the house is Duke Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, the crown prince of Umberto II — the last king of the Kingdom of Italy — who is also known as a businessman. Duke Emanuele Filiberto has noted that "the fusion of the royal family's traditional blue with the technology symbolized by the iPhone is wonderful," and reportedly uses the iPhone cases from this collection himself.
