About the Brand
Silsmaria is the birthplace of nama chocolate. On a cold night in 1988, a completely new type of chocolate was created in Silsmaria's kitchen.
When the chocolatier named this chocolate "nama chocolate," it would later lead to the nama chocolate boom.
Of course, the term "nama chocolate" used today was also born at Silsmaria at that time.
With the same passion as back then, nama chocolate has since been passed down through the hands of many artisans, continuing to create special flavors that will remain for the future. It is a Japanese chocolate enjoyed across generations, and our goal is simply the smiles of customers enjoying chocolate. We continue our pursuit of a single piece of chocolate, passing the baton from artisan to artisan toward this endless goal.
