CHOCOLATE BANK, a chocolate specialty shop located in a former bank building in Kamakura (founder: Shingo Ishihara), is collaborating with the long-selling popular product "Tabekko Dobutsu" (Ginbis Co., Ltd.) to launch [BANK Tabekko Dobutsu] starting January 16, 2026 (Friday) at JR Nagoya Takashimaya's "Amour du Chocolat" in limited quantities.
CHOCOLATE BANK has continued making confections with the sincere wish that parents and children, and loved ones, can enjoy "delicious moments" together. Ginbis' "Tabekko Dobutsu," beloved across generations, has joined forces with CHOCOLATE BANK through their 2026 theme "SAFARI" to create this special collaboration available only this year. The charming animal-shaped biscuits of "Tabekko Dobutsu" meet CHOCOLATE BANK, which carefully cultivates Colombian cacao from its own farm. The encounter of both brands' commitment has resulted in luxurious and playful sweets.

The brand was born from founder Ishihara's desire to explore and share the unknown charm of cacao he encountered in Colombia, not limited to just chocolate. It delivers new cacao experiences with a playful spirit.

"Tabekko Dobutsu" is a long-selling product launched in 1978. As a "parent-child communication biscuit," it aims to let families learn while enjoying delicious treats together. "Tabekko Dobutsu Butter Flavor" features 46 types of animal-shaped biscuits, each printed with the animal's name in English. The packaging offers various entertainment and educational content, with the back displaying both English and Japanese animal names, allowing children to learn by sight while eating the biscuits.
