THE CENTRAL PARK KOKURA to Open in Kitakyushu in Spring 2027, Reviving a Wedding Venue Loved by 600,000 Guests as an 'Urban Forest'

A wedding venue that has been loved in Kitakyushu for many years, welcoming around 600,000 guests, is being reborn in spring 2027 as a new wedding stage built around the concept of an "urban forest."

BLD Group (Headquarters: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yasunari Takamoku) is reviving the site, making use of the value of its existing building, into THE CENTRAL PARK KOKURA (ザ セントラルパーク 小倉), a venue wrapped in greenery and light. The concept and completion renderings for the facility have now been released.

Concept: An "Open Terrace Wedding" Connected to the Forest

A chapel connected to the forest, party spaces that become one with the garden, and "Tank to Table" — craft beer brewed to the couple's own recipe. Through a renewal that makes use of the existing building, the venue proposes a new wedding experience where nature, architecture, and food come together as one.

Three Party Spaces That Become One With the Garden

Three party spaces can be chosen to match the number of guests and how the couple wants to spend the day. The garden and indoor spaces connect seamlessly, bringing greenery close at hand for an open, airy wedding.

"Tank to Table": Craft Beer Brewed to the Couple's Own Recipe

A craft beer brewing tank is installed on-site, so guests can be served a fresh glass brewed to the couple's own recipe. It's a new wedding experience unique to this venue, described as "Tank to Table."

The Forest Chapel, Wrapped in Natural Light and Greenery

A chapel connected to the forest, filled with the warmth of wood and natural light. Looking out through large windows onto greenery, couples can exchange vows while surrounded by the people who matter most to them.

Carrying Forward the Memories of 600,000 Guests: Reviving an Existing Wedding Venue as an "Urban Forest"

The former Swiss Pavilion sits near the center of the site. While retaining the existing building structure, its exterior walls are being renewed with a glass curtain wall. Carrying forward the memories built into the structure, it is being reborn as an open party space where the forest's greenery and light reach all the way indoors.
