A pop-up store for the popular character Thomas & Friends (きかんしゃトーマス), "SODOR MARKET" (ソドーマーケット), will be held for a limited time at magmabooks in Toranomon, Tokyo, starting Friday, November 27, 2026. The event is hosted by Maruzen Junkudo Bookstores (丸善ジュンク堂書店).
The venue sells goods centered on "Overwork Thomas" (オーバーワークトーマス), an original Japanese series. The series shows Thomas and his friends working hard every day and looking a little tired, and the unique goods let fans enjoy these characters in ways that bring an involuntary chuckle.
The venue also has a panel exhibition of "Overwork Thomas" and a photo spot where visitors can take pictures with Thomas. Beyond shopping, the space lets visitors enjoy the world of Thomas. The limited-time pop-up store can be enjoyed by families on an outing as well as by fans of Thomas.
