Tokyo Age Dorayaki (東京揚げどらやき), a fried take on the familiar Japanese sweet dorayaki, is opening a pop-up store inside Kyobashi Station in Osaka for four days only, from Tuesday, October 13 to Friday, October 16, 2026. The pop-up is the first franchise store of Tokyo Age Dorayaki, opened by R Baker.
What Is Tokyo Age Dorayaki?
Tokyo Age Dorayaki keeps the familiar shape of a dorayaki and combines original confectionery and frying techniques to create a new style of Japanese sweet. The dough is fried until crisp in carefully selected rice oil, and its fragrant flavor and rich sweetness are described as addictive once you try them.

New Signature Item: Meibutsu Kinako Mamire
At the directly operated trial store, Tokyo Age Dorayaki Soshigaya-Okura (東京揚げどらやき祖師谷大蔵店), the item "Agedora Kinako Mochi" (あげどら・きな粉もち) drew enthusiastic support. For this pop-up, it returns as a new signature item named "Meibutsu Kinako Mamire" (名物きなこまみれ). It combines stretchy mochi, rich sweet red bean paste (anko), and plenty of fragrant kinako (roasted soybean flour).

After the Kyobashi Station pop-up, Tokyo Age Dorayaki plans to open in busy spots in the Kansai area, such as major station concourses and department store event spaces. The sweets are offered as an everyday treat or something to enjoy while walking around.
