New "Kakudaishi Dorayaki" Turns Jindaiji's Yakuyoke Charm into a Bite-Sized Treat, On Sale from July 18

Jindaiji Shokubunka Henshu-shitsu in Chofu City, Tokyo, is launching "Kakudaishi Dorayaki," a treat inspired by the yakuyoke figure Kakudaishi, on weekends and public holidays from July 18, 2026. The dorayaki was planned by four women in their late 40s and early 50s who reskilled in food culture at Kyoto University of the Arts, and is made by the 115-year-old Nagasaki confectionery shop Okita.
