Benzaiten has long refined the softness and melt-in-the-mouth texture of its gyuhi — the thin rice cake wrapper — to complement fruit fillings. That same gyuhi-making technique is what gave rise to this summer-limited cool confection.
The filling brings together a smooth ganache made with Hokkaido heavy cream and fragrant roasted peanuts, creating a rich, layered depth of flavor.
