Fukushima Hachimangu Shrine in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture has postponed its Tanabata Kigansai sky lantern launch from July 4 to July 19, 2026, due to rain in the forecast. On the rescheduled date, visitors can join the Tento Kigansai prayer festival, writing wishes on goldfish-shaped ema and sending them skyward on LED sky lanterns.

Printed on soft washi paper and featuring rain drops, playful Choju-Giga characters, and the shrine's beloved mascot Shiro-chan, the goshuin is also designed to be photographed alongside the shrine's blooming hydrangeas.
