A beloved cursed doll said to house the spirit of "Kawashima Sayuri" was passed from comedian Nakatani of the duo Mayurika, who had grown fearful of the sensation of being watched, to occult item collector Toshiyuki Tanaka.
Note: Sayuri's display is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 18.

Fukuoka PARCO (2-11-1 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) is holding a major update of last year's well-received "Zot Exhibition: True Ghost Stories and Their Physical Evidence," previously shown at Hiroshima PARCO, as the first installment of the "PARCO FACTORY" chapter in its "Hey! PARCO — What Makes PARCO, PARCO, Never Stops" campaign marking the store's final year. The exhibition runs for a limited time this summer.
The exhibition brings together true ghost stories collected from across Japan along with the "physical evidence" connected to them — ghost photos, video, audio, and cursed objects. It introduces numerous items from occult collector Toshiyuki Tanaka's collection, along with the stories behind each one. It also features original research into real ghost stories from around Kyushu, spotlighting the fears and memories that live on in the region, for an exhibition experience that can only be had here.
The beloved cursed doll "Sayuri," which became a topic of conversation after being presented to Tanaka on the comedy duo Mayurika's podcast "Mayurika no Unagerorin!!," will make her first appearance in Kyushu as part of Tanaka's collection. Real ghost stories and the physical evidence left behind with them await — come experience a chill down your spine this hot summer.
