Eddie Bauer, the U.S.-born outdoor brand, is releasing two exclusive items as part of its 26FALL&WINTER collection, created in collaboration with the select shop Color at Against, which deals in vintage clothing as well as domestic and imported brands, and the fashion magazine men's FUDGE.
Exclusive Items
Color at Against dug up hidden gems from Eddie Bauer's lineup from its own point of view, and men's FUDGE updated them to suit the current mood. The "Popcorn Knit," a three-way collaboration that drew attention last year by selling out and going back into production, returns this year with further refinements. In addition to detailed design improvements, it comes in two colors with a European feel: a gentle ecru with a French-chic air, and a rich brown with a British mood that suits the heavier feel of the season. The result is a classic yet iconic piece aimed at the magazine's "FUDGE boys."
A newly commissioned "Mackinaw Jacket" is also being previewed ahead of its release, which is scheduled for November. Based on the Eddie Bauer archive, the jacket has a slightly roomier silhouette and a shortened length, so even the standard American casual style looks polished.

POPCORN SWEATER
The "Popcorn Knit," a hidden gem of Eddie Bauer that first appeared in the 1980s and 1990s, is customized the men's FUDGE way as an oversized, drop-shoulder piece. Its iconic design, made by intricately knitting wool yarn, is a centerpiece of autumn outfits and also works as a supporting player in winter that still looks good once the outer layer comes off.

WOOL MACKINAW SHORT JACKET
Based on the Mackinaw jacket in the Eddie Bauer archive, this jacket has been updated for a modern fit. It includes classic Mackinaw details such as a large collar, front pockets and raglan sleeves.
