TOKYO CREATIVE SALON 2026 (TCS2026), one of Japan's largest creative festivals, opened on Friday, March 13, 2026. In the Ginza area, the event shines a spotlight on the neighborhood's blend of time-honored tradition and ever-evolving creativity, offering a range of walk-around and hands-on programs. Highlights include GINZA QUEST 2, a puzzle-based reinterpretation of the classic Ginza stroll known as "Ginbura," along with fashion snap experiences at the information hub GINZA KIOSK, and a floral social action program called "Ginza no Machi no Hana Okuri." Additional events — including an authentic Noh performance at the Kanze Nohgakudo Theater inside GINZA SIX, a watch event at Wako, and a Japanese denim experience at Matsuya Ginza — bring together commercial facilities and cultural venues to animate the entire neighborhood.

At GINZA QUEST 2, visitors pick up a booklet at the GINZA KIOSK and explore Ginza armed with their smartphones and a map, solving mystery puzzles scattered around the area. The activity draws on the "Ginbura" walking culture that has existed since the Taisho era, giving participants a game-like way to discover lesser-known corners of Ginza. Completing all the puzzles comes with a special reward, and the event runs through March 22.

GINZA FUTURE POST is an experiential art project that archives "today's Ginza" and sends it into the future. Visitors have a fashion snap taken in a dedicated booth, and the printed photo is dropped into a special postbox — then delivered to their home the following spring. It's a chance to preserve one's outfit and memories as a kind of "future vintage."
