VERTERE, a craft brewery based in Okutama on the western edge of Tokyo, is opening a new taproom in Daikanyama on July 17, 2026 (Friday). VERTERE Daikanyama Taproom will be located inside TENOHA Daikanyama, a Tokyu Fudosan property that serves as a hub for circular community initiatives centered on sustainability.
The taproom will offer eight varieties of VERTERE draft beer, along with light food and retail sales of canned beer.
Within Tokyu Fudosan's nationwide TENOHA brand, TENOHA Daikanyama serves as the hub for "circular community" initiatives centered on the environment and sustainability. The new taproom aims to bring a comfortable, relaxing experience to the Daikanyama space through VERTERE's Okutama-brewed beers, in keeping with the values that TENOHA represents.

VERTERE is a craft beer producer based in Okutama, the westernmost area of Tokyo. The brewery has produced more than 200 different beer styles to date and also handles nationwide wholesale distribution and overseas export.
The main Okutama taproom keeps ten taps of VERTERE beer flowing at any given time, drawing beer enthusiasts from across Japan.
Weekend Brewery Tours at Okutama
Weekend brewery tours are held at the Okutama facility. Visitors join VERTERE brewing staff for a walk-through of the brewery, learning about the beer production process, the philosophy behind the brewing, and getting their questions answered. Tours conclude with a beer tasting. Advance reservations are required.
