Wedgwood, the British brand with royal warrants, is releasing the "Archive Icons Advent Calendar" as part of its Festive Collection 2026. The calendar goes on sale on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Wedgwood shops nationwide. Pre-sale is already under way on the official Wedgwood online shop. The brand is run in Japan by Fiskars Japan Co., Ltd.
The Archive Icons Advent Calendar is a limited design created for the 2026 holiday season. Through a story full of discoveries and surprises, it traces the history of Wedgwood design, like a carefully made "cabinet of curiosities." Its book-shaped case, which looks like a single volume telling a story, can also be displayed on its own.
Opening one door a day builds up the days leading to Christmas. This year's calendar takes a design built on a new concept and arrives as a collection packed with Wedgwood's craftsmanship and rich storytelling.

"I love the idea that, at this time of year, a home fills with objects that carry stories, memories, and meaning, until the house itself becomes a kind of cabinet of curiosities. We delved into Wedgwood's archive, dug up stories that have rarely been told, and reinterpreted them as new designs."
2026 Limited Design: Treasured Archive Motifs, Reimagined
The Archive Icons Advent Calendar is the signature item of Wedgwood's holiday-season collection this year. It takes its inspiration from the "Wunderkammer" (room of wonders), a space that spread in the 16th century and displayed works of art, historical relics, and rare curiosities.
Designed as a tribute to those spaces, the calendar holds 12 different illustrated fine bone china ornaments. Their motifs draw on stories and symbols of Wedgwood's long history. Each ornament fits in the palm of a hand and is made with careful attention to fine detail. It can be hung on a tree or placed lightly on a shelf or table.
The world of the calendar, full of curiosity and discovery, also reflects the spirit of inquiry and the craftsmanship that Wedgwood has carried on.
