A new kind of culture is taking shape at Okazaki Park in Kyoto, with a lineup of products available nowhere else and a long-awaited pre-event opening the festivities.
YES GOOD MARKET (YGM) is a market event that shares fashion, music, food, and other culture through the format of a "market." Set against a backdrop of refined street culture, it was launched by 湯本弘通, director of SEE SEE, and is organized by YES GOOD MARKET, with support from Urban Research Co., Ltd. and, newly this year, the city of Kyoto. Alongside the main event at Okazaki Park, Kyoto on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, YGM is holding its first-ever pre-event on Friday, October 2.
YES GOOD MARKET 2026 Pre-Event: October 2, 2026, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
From a pleasant autumn evening into the night in Kyoto, visitors can get an early taste of the main event's energy with a special standalone opening of the FOOD AREA. In a specially lit-up space, visitors can enjoy carefully selected food and drink as anticipation builds ahead of the weekend.
Note: the pre-event opens the FOOD AREA only. The APPAREL & GOODS AREA opens the following day, October 3.

Held since 2016 against a backdrop of the refined street culture found in Shizuoka, YES GOOD MARKET is a hugely popular market festival built around the concept of a space for enjoying shopping outside the ordinary.
