Yokohama FC will hold a "Pokémon J.League Special Fes" at its August 16 (Sunday) home match against Júbilo Iwata. On matchday, the club will give away an EVO BAG — an eco-friendly tote featuring Pikachu and club partner Pokémon Clefable — free to the first 50,000 attendees at the entrance gates (excluding visitor seating; ticket holders only).

Match Details
Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, for Matchday 2 of the 2026/27 Meiji Yasuda J2 League. The venue is MUFG Stadium (National Stadium), located at 10-1 Kasumigaokamachi, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-0013.
A Nationwide Pokémon Tie-Up Across the J.League
To mark the opening of the 2026/27 Meiji Yasuda J.League on Friday, August 7, 2026, the League has partnered with Pokémon — celebrating its own 30th anniversary this year — under the theme "EVOLUTION! The J.League Evolves." All 60 clubs nationwide will host a "Pokémon J.League Fes."
In a nod to the League's own transformation as its season shifts to an August opening, every one of the 60 clubs has been paired with a distinctly "evolved" club partner Pokémon, which will help energize the season through fan giveaways, original merchandise, and various events.

Yokohama FC's club partner Pokémon has been revealed as Clefable, who will join league partner Pokémon Pikachu in bringing the collaboration to life.
Free EVO Bag for the First 50,000 Fans
The centerpiece of matchday is the EVO BAG, an eco-friendly Pokémon tote that is not sold and given away only as a fan gift.
- Quantity: 50,000 bags
- Distribution: first-come, first-served
- Eligibility: attendees holding a ticket for that day's match (one bag per person holding a ticket)
- Distribution points: each entrance gate, except Gate D; at all other gates, the bag will not be given to anyone wearing away-team merchandise
- Size: 37 cm (H) x 30 cm (W), excluding handles
- Material: 100% recycled polyester, 230T, GRS-certified
As part of the J.League's efforts to address climate change and protect the scenery that football calls home, the bag is made entirely from GRS-certified recycled polyester.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard) is an international third-party certification that verifies a product's recycled content and confirms that its manufacturing and distribution meet environmental and social standards; it is among the most widely adopted and rigorously enforced certifications of its kind.
Pokémon GO Event at the Stadium
A Pokémon GO event will also take place at the stadium, with details to be announced at a later date.

To mark the tie-up, Yokohama FC will also sell original club merchandise featuring league partner Pokémon Pikachu and club partner Pokémon Clefable.
