AND THE FRIET, a French fry specialty shop that proposes carefully selected potatoes through unique methods and styles, will launch the "Goimo-Yaki: JAPAN-BELGIUM BOX Ⅱ" on February 19th in limited quantities. This box set combines a new product called "Goimo-Yaki (POTATO-YAKI)" with their classic dried frites.
Goimo-Yaki is a new-concept potato snack, or rather a "potato confection," made from a potato-based dough mixed with onion and pepper. Each piece is carefully hand-baked one by one by craftsmen using traditional Kyoto senbei (rice cracker) techniques that have been passed down for over 100 years. The crispy, light-textured wafers are filled with a rich camembert cheese cream infused with the aroma of black truffle. The harmony of subtle sweetness, potato flavor, and peppery accents creates a fresh fusion of Japanese and Western tastes that's unlike anything you've encountered before.
Because the number of pieces that can be baked per day is limited, this product is available only at selected stores in limited quantities. With only 10 to 50 boxes arriving at each store per week, it's recommended to purchase without hesitation when you come across them.
The set includes 6 pieces of Goimo-Yaki and 2 types of dried frites. Perfect as a tea snack or as an accompaniment to alcoholic beverages, it caters to a wide range of needs from gifts to travel souvenirs.
The package design is by art director Naomi Hirabayashi. The outer box features the familiar illustration with the eye-catching "Goimo-Yaki" text.
