Crayon Shin-chan the Movie Collab Event Coming to Nijigen no Mori This Summer

A special collaboration event tied to the upcoming film "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Spooky! My Yokai Vacation" is coming to the Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island. Titled "Find Hiroshi and Misae's 'Oshiridama'! in Nijigen no Mori," the event runs from Friday, July 31 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

The event is a stamp rally in the style of a mystery-solving adventure. Participants use an original map to search for yokai characters hiding inside the Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, collect clues, and take on a final mission to track down Hiroshi and Misae's "oshiridama." Exploring the lush natural landscape of Awaji Island, the experience is designed to feel like getting lost in the land of yokai.

Guests who successfully find the "oshiridama" receive a message card as a gift — a keepsake meant for sharing gratitude with family and loved ones, in the spirit of the Nohara family bond.

About the Film: "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Spooky! My Yokai Vacation"

One summer, the Nohara family sets off for Hiroshi's parents' home in Akita Prefecture. They arrive and enjoy the fireworks festival and a relaxing time at grandpa Gin-no-suke's house. But the morning after they arrive, something strange happens — flyers for a place called "Obake-shon Village" (Vacation Village of Ghosts) are scattered all over the room where Shin-chan and the family slept. Drawn in by the promise of "all-you-can-eat Chocobi," Shin-chan begs to go, and the family heads deep into the mountains.

As they venture further into an increasingly strange landscape, they stumble into a forbidden realm — the entrance to the Land of Yokai. Discovered to be humans, Hiroshi and Misae accidentally have their "oshiridama" taken, transforming them into yokai. Worse, without the "oshiridama," they will slowly forget their memories as humans — and if they don't get it back before the Hour of the Rat the following day, they can never return to human form.

The Nohara family faces their greatest crisis yet in the Land of Yokai. Can Shin-chan and the gang recover the "oshiridama" and make it back to the human world?
