Ekichika Barbecue, Rakuen Town Ikebukuro opens July 7, 2026 (Tuesday) on the rooftop of Rakuen Town Ikebukuro, a commercial complex run by Hamatomo A.L. Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Keiji Oishi). The all-season BBQ venue is operated by Space Operation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kawasaki, Kanagawa; Representative: Dai Suzuki), with planning and production by eeeats Inc., and sits just a three-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station's East Exit.

An Open-Air Rooftop for BBQ and Beer Garden Nights

Guests don't have to grill to enjoy the rooftop: without renting a grill table, it works as a laid-back, izakaya-style spot for food and drinks, and quick, casual visits for a drink at midday or in the evening are welcome. Guests who do want to cook can rent a grill table and BBQ instead.

The venue runs on a double concept that changes with the seasons: from April to October it operates as a lively "Passionate BBQ Grounds," and from November to March it shifts to a "Seafood Market BBQ" concept built around fresh seafood.

The restaurant's seafood comes mainly from Ryujinmaru, a supplier in Funka Bay, Hokkaido, with scallops, shell-on oysters, and whelk (tsubugai) among the standout items.
