Fujiya Hotel in Hakone is introducing a new concept room, "Chaplin's Room," set to open on April 16, 2026 — the birthday of world-famous comedian Charles Chaplin. A special stay plan to mark the occasion is now available for booking.
Chaplin is among the many notable figures who have visited Fujiya Hotel over the years. Records confirm that Charles Spencer Chaplin — widely known as Charlie Chaplin — actually stayed in one of the main building's rooms. The plan reimagines this historically significant space as a special guest room with a fresh character, offering an exclusive stay limited to one group per night.

The plan includes afternoon tea inspired by Chaplin's films, with desserts and savories evoking the world of his movies. An original key holder is also included as an exclusive in-plan gift, one per guest.
