MOE BOOKS, the book imprint born from Monthly MOE magazine, released the second volume of Critically-Endangered Species Hacchin-Pamos on July 3, 2026 — the SNS-popular comic that follows a round, white endangered creature whose habits remain full of mystery.
Long-awaited by fans, Volume 2 brings the adorable Hacchin-Pamos back with even more charm. A mysterious animal named Bou and a female Hacchin-Pamos both make their first appearance, deepening the puzzle of just how this endangered species actually lives.
The volume also collects several medium-length side stories, including the manga Koi ni Ochita Hacchin-Pamos and the picture book Pamotaro no Ringo.

About the Author
Qrais was born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1985. A member of the first graduating class of Tokyo Zokei University's Animation program, he went on to complete the university's graduate school and is now active across multiple fields as a manga artist, illustrator, picture-book author, and animation creator.
His major manga works include Nekonohii, Sukiusagi, Higuma, and Hitorigoto: Qrais no Success Gohan, while his picture books include the Don Ussa series and Sekai Ichi Reigi Tadashii Kaijuu Bombalvon. His picture book Ninjinjin placed 10th in the 16th MOE Ehon-ya-san Award, and Shika Shika Inai placed 3rd in the 17th MOE Ehon-ya-san Award.
