Laguna Garden Hotel in Ginowan, Okinawa is set to open its outdoor pool for the 2026 season on April 29 (Wed, public holiday). On the same day, the outdoor sauna "Laguna Sauna" at the on-site Safi Spa Okinawa will begin offering new morning sessions starting at 8:00 AM.
Outdoor Pool Opens on April 29
The outdoor pool at Laguna Garden Hotel stretches 53 meters in length and will open for the 2026 season on April 29 (Wed, public holiday). The expansive pool is designed to evoke a sense of merging seamlessly with the sea, offering an open resort atmosphere for swimming, floating, or simply taking in the Okinawan surroundings.

Year-Round Indoor Pool Also Available
The hotel also has a fully enclosed all-weather indoor pool measuring 23 meters — roughly the size of one tennis court — which operates year-round regardless of weather conditions. A dedicated kids' area features a mini water slide suitable for younger guests, and a jet bath area is available for adults looking to unwind. The layout allows parents to relax in the jet bath while keeping an eye on children in the shallower sections.
Laguna Sauna Adds Morning Sessions from April 29
The outdoor sauna "Laguna Sauna" at Safi Spa Okinawa will also introduce a new morning session (8:00 AM–11:00 AM) beginning April 29 (Wed, public holiday). The sauna is constructed from red cedar and features a glass-fronted design offering views of the garden and pool. Guests can also perform löyly to enhance the aroma experience while enjoying the tropical scenery outside.
From April 29 onward, Laguna Sauna will operate in two sessions per day — morning and afternoon — providing more scheduling flexibility for guests.
