LASTFRAME Opens Pop-Up Store at Isetan Shinjuku for New Autumn/Winter 2026 Collection

Published: July 23, 2026

LASTFRAME (ラストフレーム) is a brand built around the concept of "passing Japan's world-class traditional techniques on to the future," transforming them into modern designs.

From Wednesday, July 29 to Tuesday, August 25, 2026, a pop-up store showcasing the new "Autumn/Winter 2026 Collection" opens on the first floor of the main building at Isetan Shinjuku. The event offers a first look at a wide range of new pieces launching the same day.

LASTFRAME's signature knit bags are made on specialized knitting machines, of which only a handful exist in Japan, producing fine, delicate textures that ordinary machines cannot replicate. The bags have a rich, structured feel while remaining remarkably light, resisting stretch vertically while flexing easily widthwise, combining practicality with a distinctive look.

The new collection, where refined Japanese craftsmanship meets LASTFRAME's contemporary design sensibility, can be seen at this pop-up.

About LASTFRAME

LASTFRAME's mission is "passing Japan's world-class traditional techniques on to the future."

Drawing on the many cultures designer Takanohiro Okude has experienced around the world, LASTFRAME is a Japan-born brand built on a commitment to being made in Japan. It focuses in particular on traditional techniques whose artisans are dwindling in number year after year, expressing them through the designer's contemporary interpretation in designs unlike any other. While carrying these traditional techniques forward, the brand aims for designs that are loved across borders, eras, seasons, and gender, becoming a Japan-made luxury brand that speaks to the world.

The name LAST carries two different meanings: "last" and "to last," in the sense of enduring.

Japan's fading artisan and traditional techniques are captured within a "frame," elevated into design and products, and carried forward.

LASTFRAME is both the brand's name and a description of its mission: to pass Japan's world-class traditional techniques on to the future.
