Metsa Village, a Nordic lifestyle experience facility in Hanno, Saitama, will open "Metsa Ice Tulip Terrace" featuring approximately 3,000 blooming tulips from January 31 (Saturday) through February 27 (Friday), 2026. Alongside the tulip display, the facility will offer special merchandise and host a photo contest. Visitors can enjoy this winter spectacle with family, friends, or even their dogs.
1. 3,000 Early-Rising Ice Tulips Awaken in Winter
Ice tulips are bulbs that have been stored in refrigeration for a specific period to simulate winter, then planted outdoors. Sensing the warmer conditions, they bloom in the middle of winter.
Visitors will be surrounded by diverse tulip varieties including the vibrant "Laptop" and "Ile de France," as well as the newly introduced "Princess Irene." The colorful blooms create a peaceful resting area at Metsa Aukio.
SDGs Initiative: Tulip Picking Experience
At the end of the event, Metsa will reduce waste by offering a special tulip giveaway. Visitors who spend 1,000 yen (tax included) or more at Metsa Village on the designated day will receive 5 tulips. Follow Metsa Village's SNS accounts (X and Instagram) to receive an additional 2 tulips.

2. Take a Lakeside Stroll on the "Tulip Boat"
The popular boat activity will be dressed up as a limited-edition "Tulip Boat" during the event period. After enjoying the Ice Tulip Terrace, hop aboard the colorful Tulip Boat for a ride!

3. Metsa Ice Tulip Terrace 2026 Photo Contest Announced!
A photo contest themed around Metsa's ice tulips will be held. Five winners will receive boat experience tickets or gift certificates usable at Metsa.
